Please note: As of 23/09/2026 attendees at our Contraceptive Coil Clinic will be invited to participate in a study that will be aiming to explore the possible impact of Feminine Hygiene Products (FHPs) on our normal friendly vulval/vaginal bacteria (lactobacilli). In the study, participants will be asked to fill in a questionnaire and have two additional swabs taken during the routine procedures. More information on the study will be provided to everybody who attends the clinic for a Coil, so that they can decide whether they would like to take part in the study.
